If it is the first time to contact with the dangerous goods for transportation, the collecting and transporting personnel shall first introduce the relevant regulations to them. The consignor must provide the approved customs declaration and the relevant data of the goods to be delivered, and shall be responsible for the correctness of the data provided by them. The consignor shall correctly and truthfully fill in the declaration form of dangerous goods, and the prepared goods shall fully comply with the regulations of the freight airline.
Dangerous Goods - Requirements and Procedures for the Import and Export of Goods by Air
General hazardous materials shall be contained in corresponding containers in specified quantity and tightly sealed. Containers shall be able to prevent explosion, fire, loss and leakage of contents due to changes in environmental conditions during transportation. The inner package shall have a shatterproof and shockproof liner, and the liquid shall have a moisture absorbent material to prevent aircraft and other cargo from being damaged due to friction during transportation. The hazardous materials in the package must not react dangerously with the packaging materials and cushions. The consignor may use standard air freight package or self-made package, and the carrier has the right to refuse to accept and transport the goods with non-conforming package.
The consignor shall mark the special transportation name and number of the dangerous goods in English, the names and addresses of the consignor and the consignee, and the weight, purpose and precautions during transportation of the dangerous goods if necessary. The use of hazard labels and work labels must refer to the specific provisions in the Hazardous Materials Rules and select the applicable labels.
